In Data We Trust | This course includes information on the data counties provide and how it is used. Three main topics PRISM data, eCRV data, and the methodology around green acre values are the focus of this course. The PRISM topic includes why we need the data, how the data is used to create reports, who uses the data, and how the information is shared with counties. In the eCRV portion of this course we will cover what eCRV is, why it is important and the workflow of the data, submitter, county and state. Wrapping up our topics is the Green Acres section where we discuss the how values are determined and used. Note: Assessors that attended the course in 2022 cannot receive credit for attending this course again during the 2020-2024 licensing cycle. | April 25, 2024 1-4 p.m. | N/A | Virtual | 3 |
PACE Courses Available at MAAO Conferences
Minnesota Revenue has partnered with the Minnesota Association of Assessing Officers (MAAO) to sponsor PACE approved seminars offered at the upcoming Summer Seminars. Those PACE approved seminars will be listed on MAAO's conference website once the information is made available. Registration and payment will be handled by MAAO.
Visit the MAAO website for more information.
PACE Courses Available at Region Meetings
These PACE approved regional trainings must focus on specific topics that the region has identified as a training need. The region is encouraged to work together to identify these areas that they want more information on. There is a process that regions must follow to offer a PACE approved course at a region meeting. For more information on the process, the region should contact their property tax compliance officer.
