Local Performance Reimbursement Aid Certification
A county or city that elects to participate in the performance measures developed by the Council on Local Results and Innovation is eligible to receive Local Performance Reimbursement Aid. The reimbursement for each eligible county or city is $0.14 per capita, not to exceed $25,000. Eligible counties and cities are also exempt from levy limits the following year, if levy limits are in effect.

The State Auditor certifies to the Commissioner of Revenue by August 1 those counties and cities that are eligible for Local Performance Reimbursement Aid. The aid is paid to participating counties and cities on December 26 of the same year it is calculated.
