Ethics for Minnesota Assessors

Ethics is a self-paced online course that all licensed assessors must complete by June 30, 2024. 

Before taking the course, you must create a learner profile. To create a learner profile, you need a unique access link provided by the property tax outreach team. The link was emailed to all licensed assessors on February 1, 2023. If you need a copy of the access link, contact the property tax outreach team.

Access the Course

• Log in to the learning management system.
• The course is in the featured course section of the dashboard.

When preparing to take the course, keep in mind: 

• The course takes about 60 to 70 minutes to complete.
• The system will save your progress if you need to finish at a later time. 
• The User Guide can help you navigate the learning management system.
• When complete, you will receive one continuing education hour. 
• Your completion certificate will be in the transcript section of the dashboard.
  • You do not need to do anything with the certificate. It is for your records.
